The International Sansevieria Society already produces three journals a year, but we thought that a BLOG might give members and potential members a chance to contact us more quickly and publish their comments, thus giving us a better feed back and ideas on what you would like to see us doing. So here we are!
I am sure members may be wondering why they have not yet received issue 17 of the journal. The fact is that the journal has been ready to print for weeks but we hit a problem in transferring money. Around 70% of our members are in the USA and the money we get from subscriptions has to be sent first to the UK and then to the printers in Slovakia. Apparently the UK bank now needs a month to clear a dollar cheque! Unfortunately this latest development could not be foreseen and avoided but naturally now we are aware of the problem, we will take appropriate action!
Issue no 18 is already largely prepared so printing should proceed quite quickly.
